Chateau Peymouton Saint-Emilion Grand Cru 2018 Saint Emilion

Château Peymouton Grand Cru belongs to the Grand Cru Class Château Laroque in Saint Emilion and is vinified with the same care as the large growth. Peymouton 2018 consists of 78% Merlot, 18% Cabernet Franc and 4% Cabernet Sauvignon. The average age of the vines is 38 years. The main characteristic of this vintage, even sets a record after 50 years: 1,136 hours of sunshine between June and September 2018. The wine has a dense purple red with aromas of wild mushrooms, blackberries and cocoa. It can come up with a lot of complexity at a young age and is an ideal accompaniment to game dishes, such as a braised leg of venison.
